First Experiences

August 18th- The first full day starts at 4.45am, with Jaya whining. It has been a surprisingly good night, not like in Lady And The Tramp! She sleeps most of them time and then we take her in our arms up the road to the letter box, come home, and she sleeps again!

August 19th- About three people come to visit Jaya today, and she has some crazy puppy moments in the garden!

Near the end of August- we hold a summer party and people come along, some even bring a toy for Jaya so she's very happy with all the cuddles! We've taught her sit now!

The Day Has Finally Come!

The sun is shining and we're all VERY excited about getting Jaya! We set off quite early because it takes 2 hours to get there. It was nice to see Jaya's mother and breeder again, but it was sad to say goodbye to all of the other puppies! But we were about to start a whole new adventure with Jaya! When we got home, we introduced her to the cat, who hissed, and ran off. Then Jaya slept for the whole afternoon! It was a very eventful day!

The First Meeting

June 2011- after much research and persuading, we decided to get a dog! We were going to get a Shetland Sheepdog, but then decided to go for a Golden Retriever- less fur they said... We visited the Kennel Club website and found a breeder and phoned up as soon as possible and she said she had a puppy available for us. On July 17th, we went to visit the puppies and the mother, Lily. It was so exciting that in over a month this little puppy would be coming home!
